Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Madison seeks a Research Technician to support the Ryan Denu Lab at the UW Carbone Cancer Center and the Department of Medicine. You will collect data, run tests, and help prepare material for presentations and publications.

In this role, you will maintain equipment and collaborate with investigators on epigenetic and molecular biology workflows, contributing to findings that may advance cancer research.

Qualifications

• Previously worked in a biological sciences research lab.
• Experience using Microsoft Office 365 (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Collects data and monitors test results according to established research requirements and specifications.
• Performs lab and/or field test materials and samples according to established research requirements and specifications.
• May assist with literature reviews and/or report writing.
• Reviews data to summarize results for presentations or reporting.
• Inspects and maintains equipment, supplies, inventory, and facility spaces.
