Responsibilities

The Hearing lab uses behavioral, genetic, neurophysiological, and in vivo neural activity approaches to study changes in brain function that underlie opioid addiction and neuropsychiatric disorders.
The successful applicant will perform surgical procedures in mice and manage an individual research project.
This management will include conducting experiments on a regular basis using state of the art technology as well as collecting and assisting in data analysis and manuscript preparation.
Additional responsibilities will include maintenance of our mouse colony and general lab, and managing undergraduate research assistants as needed.

Preferred applicants will have experience with research project oversight and management, including data management and analysis.
