Arizona State University’s Biodesign Center for Health through Microbiomes (HTM) seeks a Research Technician to provide intermediate to complex technical support and lab operations. High School Diploma and two-years (2) experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Performs intermediate to complex technical support, general lab maintenance, and lab operational support with some degree of independence to aid in research projects. Responsible for following lab safety standards.
The Biodesign Center for Health through Microbiomes (HTM) is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and collaborative Research Technician to support the Center's research and operational activities. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator with strong organizational and multitasking skills who thrives in a team-oriented environment. This position offers flexibility and may accommodate part-time or flexible scheduling based on the candidate's expertise and the needs of the Center.
$21.20 - $26.49 per hour; DOE
Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting and laboratory subject to extended periods of being in a stationary position, operating computer and other office productivity machinery; required to move a moderate distance to perform work. Frequently moves up to 25 pounds for various needs. May be required to wear personal protective equipment before entering laboratories such as lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, closed toe shoes and respirator.
