Position Summary

We are looking for a summer intern to work on the development of statistical and artificial intelligence algorithms for the analysis of high-resolution histology images. You will contribute to the development of novel computer vision algorithms that aim to solve specific translational or scientific questions in a variety of diseases including hematological malignancies, organ transplant rejection, neurodegenerative diseases, and breast/GI/brain/neuroendocrine tumors. Your work may include: basic methodology development, empirical/theoretical validation and study, close collaborations with physicians/biologists, open-source software development.

Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

Experience with the python data science ecosystem (e.g. numpy/pandas/matplotlib) and pytorch . Understanding of core deep-learning concepts.
