The laboratory of Dr. Silvia Moreno, located at the Coverdell Center for Biomedical Research, is looking for a full-time technician. The laboratory studies the parasite Toxoplasma gondii, which infects over 2 billion people worldwide. The job involves general laboratory tasks like maintaining cells and parasite lines, organization of reagents and laboratory inventories, training and supervising undergraduate students, etc. This technician will also be involved in ongoing research projects on drug discovery or calcium signaling.
