Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Research Study Technician to join our Madison, WI team. The role involves researching the effectiveness, safety and toxicity of drugs in early development animal studies, including handling and restraining animals and performing dosing on various species.

Qualified candidates hold a Life Science degree (or related) with 6+ months in a regulated lab; AALAS certification is preferred. Overtime and relocation support are available as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or related field; 6+ months of experience in a regulated lab
• AALAS Certification preferred for this role

Responsibilities

• Research the effectiveness, safety and toxicity of drugs in early development animal studies
• Handling and restraining animals
• Provide husbandry duties to small and large animals
• Perform dosing techniques with small and large animals
• Administer test items
• Collect biological samples
• Perform clinical observations
• Review data in GLP SOPs and AAALAC standards
• Organize study activities and data
