University of Utah in Campus is seeking a per diem Speech-Language Pathologist to support the Aphasia Communication and Participation Lab. You will assist the Lab Director with research activities aimed at improving communication, quality of life and participation for individuals with aphasia.

Salary

This is not a salaried position. Hourly rate compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Required

• Current licensure to practice as a Speech Pathologist in the Stateof Utah.

Preferred

Experience in the following areas; dysphagia, stroke, head trauma, diffuse brain pathology, neurologic diseases and disorders, developmental language delay, dysfluency, voice pathology, motorspeech disorders, cognitive disorders or equivalency (one year ofeducation can be substituted for two years of related workexperience).

Preferences

Graduate degree in Speech-Langauge Pathology, Certificate ofClinical Competency from the American Speech-Language HearingAssociation (ASHA CCCs). Experience with neurological communicationdisorders, including post-stroke aphasia preferred.
