Job summary

The Simons Foundation's Flatiron Institute, Center for Computational Quantum Physics (CCQ) in New York City, seeks a Flatiron Research Fellow-Software at a postdoctoral level to design and implement software for cutting-edge quantum many-body research.

You will contribute to major code efforts such as TRIQS, AFQMC, ITensor, publish results, mentor students, and participate in seminars.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant field is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in software and algorithm development.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain and support scientific software for CCQ research.
• Contribute to major code efforts (TRIQS, AFQMC, ITensor) and publish results.
• Assist in organizing CCQ/Flatiron-wide activities and mentorship of students.
