The Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) is responsible for managing system security plans, policies, training requirements, and other related aspects for information system that manage regulated data types. This position will play a critical role in safeguarding sensitive information, managing risks, and maintaining compliance with relevant Department of Defense (DoD) and other United States Government (USG) regulations. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience working with or in the Department of Defense (DoD) and safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). The ISSM is an important contact point for security plans and policies related to the cybersecurity of CUI / ITAR / EAR and HIPAA-compliant computing environments within UGA.
