Job summary

The University at Buffalo’s Department of Surgery seeks a Research Scientist in transplant surgery to advance clinical and hospital-based research alongside UB colleagues and community partners.

Under the Transplant Division Chief and Department Chair, the incumbent will contribute to collaborative projects and scholarly activities within the Department of Surgery.

Qualifications

  • Experience designing and managing research proposals.
  • Conducting studies and analyzing data.
  • Disseminating results via publications and presentations.
  • Providing statistical and programming support to teams.
  • Assisting residents in developing research concepts.
  • Prepare IRB applications and related administrative tasks.

The Department of Surgery within the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, State University of New York at Buffalo (UB), seeks qualified Research Scientist in the field of transplant surgery.

Under the supervision of the Transplant Division Chief and the Department Chair, the incumbent will contribute significantly to the advancement of clinical and hospital based research in the Department of Surgery, including collaborative projects with other University at Buffalo and community partners.
