Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Research Scientist to join our Lexington, MA team for a 5+ month onsite assignment. The role focuses on wet-lab driven discovery and siRNA platform development.

Responsibilities include screening and lead optimization, mammalian cell culture, in vitro and in vivo studies, and clear communication of findings through documentation and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• MS with 2 years post-degree cell/molecular biology experience in industry.
• PhD with 1 year post-degree experience in cell/molecular biology in industry.
• Expertise in cellular/molecular biology essential (cell culture, qPCR).
• Experience with RNA-seq, library prep or IP workflows desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct siRNA drug candidate screening, hit identification, and lead optimization.
• Apply cellular and molecular biology methods including mammalian cell culture, transfection, cell-based assays, and PCR.
• Support in vivo drug candidate testing (mouse dosing and sample analysis).
• Advance research projects to optimize the siRNA platform.
• Generate high-quality technical documentation and communicate findings internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities
