Waymo LLC, a leader in autonomous driving, is seeking an experienced researcher to join the Waymo AI Foundations team in a hybrid role reporting to a Software Engineering Manager. You will advance world modeling and generative AI for reliable autonomous driving.

Responsibilities include conducting world model research, post-training foundational models, designing experiments, and presenting results to peers and leadership while writing high-quality code, tests, and documentation.

Qualificações

• Must have advanced degree in deep learning focused on generative or world modeling.
• Experience with large-scale model training and evaluation.
• Strong publication and research collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct applied world model research and development.
• Post-train Waymo world models and evaluate them.
• Design experiments and train/evaluate large generative models.
• Present results to peers and leadership.
• Write high quality code, unit tests, and documentation; automate workflows.
