Job summary

Predactiv is seeking an exceptional Research Scientist to advance next-generation AI technologies, focusing on user representation learning, semantic understanding, and generative AI applications. You will conduct applied research bridging theory and production.

You will design scalable models, train on large-scale data, and collaborate with engineering teams to deploy production-ready AI systems. A PhD or near-completion and strong background in deep learning and transformers are required.

Qualifications

• PhD (completed or near completion) in CS/ML or related quantitative field.
• Equivalent industrial research experience considered.
• Strong background in deep learning and representation learning.
• Experience with transformer architectures and generative AI models.
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch or JAX.
• Experience with large-scale distributed data processing and end-to-end ML systems.
• Familiarity with GPU computing and multi-GPU training.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop novel ML algorithms for user representation learning and foundation-model applications.
• Design, prototype, evaluate, and deploy transformer-based generative AI solutions.
• Develop scalable representation learning techniques using transformers and self-supervised methods.
• Investigate multimodal learning with diverse data modalities.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to deploy production-quality AI models.
• Establish rigorous offline and online evaluation methodologies and reproducible benchmarks.
