Now Hiring: Research Scientist – Digital Health (AgeTech)

Location:Mountain View, CA (Onsite, 1 Day Remote is strongly preferred)
Duration:1-Year Contract
Pay Rate:Up to $70/hr
Preferred Background:PhD, MD, or MS in Gerontology, Cognitive Science, Human Factors, or Biomedical/Health Tech

Future of health tech—and they’re creating a first-of-its-kindAgeTech-focused rolewithin their UX/Product innovation group.

This role will sit at the intersection ofacademic research and practical product development—working cross-functionally with Product Management, Biomedical Engineering, UX, and Regulatory teams.

What You'll Do:
Synthesize and analyze academic literature in AgeTech and gerontology
Translate complex research into usable guidelines for product/UX teams
Produce concept briefs, lit reviews, and research insights
Collaborate with User Research and Design to shape product direction
Support aging-focused digital health initiatives across platforms
Help prioritize user research and validate product feature concepts
Engage with academic institutions and researchers

Ideal Background:
Academic or applied research in AgeTech, digital health, or chronic care
Published work / proven experience conducting literature reviews
Familiarity with SaMD, wearables, or UX for older populations
Preferred:PhD, MD, or Master’s in a relevant discipline
Human Factors Engineering + Aging Technology = Strong Fit
