Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking a Research Engineer to join the Research Group, focusing on 3D vision and autonomous driving/robotics. You will explore 3D foundation models and related topics, leveraging large datasets and industry-leading tools to advance physical AI.

You will collaborate with Research Scientists and engineers to publish and deploy end-to-end algorithms, contributing to products and customer value while growing in a fast-paced, customer-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in at least one of: 3D reconstruction with Gaussian splatting, 3D/multi-modal foundation model and pretraining, world foundation model and video generation, or 3D/multi-view end-to-end models for autonomous driving/robotics.
• Strong interest in next‑generation, scalable autonomy and robotics for real-world systems.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively on projects with strong engineering and research skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on 3D vision topics and publish high-quality papers.
• Collaborate with Research Scientists and interns to submit to top-tier conferences.
• Work with engineering teams to deploy end-to-end algorithms for mass production vehicles and neural simulation/generation tools.
