Placements24 is seeking a Research Scientist in Computational Chemistry to join its fully remote R&D division. You will leverage advanced computational tools and theoretical modeling to design and predict properties of new molecules and materials, accelerating discovery from any location.

The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. with strong modeling, DFT and MD experience, and proficiency in Gaussian, Schrödinger, and Amber, plus Python/Bash programming to translate insights for experimental teams.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry, Theoretical Chemistry or Physical Chemistry.
• Experience with molecular modeling and quantum chemistry calculations (DFT).
• Proficiency with computational chemistry software: Gaussian, Schrödinger Suite, Amber.
• Strong programming skills (Python, Bash) and data analysis/visualization.

Responsibilities
