Vertex is seeking a talented Research Scientist to join a collaborative research team focused on Biologics discovery and optimization in Boston, MA. The group's mission is to deliver next generation biologics and genetic therapies impacting several therapeutic areas. We are looking for a candidate with a strong desire to deliver innovative new medicines to patients in need. In this lab-based role, the ideal candidate is strongly experienced in LC-MS based analytical method development and characterization of biologics including antibodies and antibody‑like scaffolds, bioconjugates, and lipid nanoparticles. The candidate should be independent, accustomed to taking initiative, and bring enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity to Vertex's fast‑paced research environment.

$104,200 - $156,200
The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
