Pindrop, a cybersecurity company, is seeking a Research Scientist to drive core research initiatives and translate ML models into real-world product solutions. Depending on level, you will work across fraud, voice, video, and authentication domains, collaborating with engineers to deploy scalable systems on cloud or edge environments.

You will design deep learning solutions, publish research, and contribute to cross‑functional teams while maintaining high standards of rigor and reproducibility.

Qualifications

• Degree (Master’s or PhD) in a quantitative field or equivalent research experience.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras).
• Foundational knowledge of biometrics, identity authentication, fraud patterns.
• Proven track record publishing research or translating findings to production.
• Experience bridging research and engineering teams.

Responsabilités

• Conduct research to develop new functionalities and improve existing technologies across Fraud, Voice/Speech, Video, Authentication, and Deepfake Detection.
• Design, implement, and evaluate deep learning algorithms and ML models for complex datasets.
• Partner with research engineers and engineering teams to transition research prototypes to production across cloud or edge environments.
• Support investigations by analyzing system behavior, identifying detection gaps, and recommending practical improvements.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings, contribute to code reviews, and publish patents or peer‑reviewed papers.
