Job summary

Teledyne Scientific & Imaging is seeking a Research Scientist to join our mission-focused team. You will develop advanced power and thermal management technologies for military and commercial applications, design and validate prototype systems, and perform experimental research in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and micro-fluidics.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, analyze data, and refine designs with strong engineering judgment.

Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related field
  • Strong technical background in heat transfer and fluid dynamics
  • Hands-on laboratory and experimental research experience
  • Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and technical problem-solving
  • Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, Icepak, Workbench) is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in dynamic, cross-functional teams
  • US citizenship due to access restrictions.

What You'll Do

What You Need

  • Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and technical problem-solving
