Requirements

• AI Research Scientist in the areas of power distribution and transmission systems.
• Conduct research in AI/ML with applications in power system planning, operation, and optimization.
• Design and implement AI algorithms for planning, real-time monitoring, control, and operation of distribution and transmission networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally and externally to prototype, test, and deploy AI-powered tools in real-world utility environments.
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed paper/journal

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or any other related degree with 1-3 years of experience in AI/ML.
• Proficiency in Python is a must.
• Experience with Graphic Processing Unity (GPU) preferred.
• Proficiency in AI/ML, supervised learning, unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, data analytics techniques, and optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in AI/ML algorithm development.
• Knowledge of distribution and transmission system analysis is preferred.

Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area.
