The University of Arizona in Tucson seeks a Research Program Coordinator to support AZTI transportation research programs. You will coordinate projects, manage budgets, advance outreach, and liaise with ADOT, universities, and stakeholders. The role includes travel to Phoenix monthly and compliance oversight.

Ideal candidates have a practical mix of research administration, communication, and organizational skills, with a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and coordinate assigned research programs and projects to ensure alignment with policies.
• Develop and maintain program protocols, SOPs, and research documentation.
• Advise investigators on compliance, risk mitigation, and operational procedures.
• Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and prepare financial reports.
• Prepare grant proposals, budgets, reports, and contracts with faculty.
• Develop evaluation plans and report outcomes to funders and stakeholders.
• Serve as liaison among research teams, sponsors, and community partners.
• Coordinate meetings, advisory boards, events, and workshops; manage logistics.
• Create and distribute outreach materials and program communications.
• Analyze research data and ensure accurate database management.
• Mentor student workers and junior staff, supporting onboarding and knowledge sharing.
