Job summary

Goldbelt Apex, part of the Healthcare Technology Transformation Group, seeks a Research Program Coordinator to plan, execute, and manage hearing research studies and related health initiatives. The role supports IRB submissions, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven program administration in a hybrid/remote Maryland setup.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree, 2+ years in project coordination, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain government clearances if required.

Summary: The Research Program Coordinator supports planning, execution, coordination, tracking, and administration of hearing research studies, public health initiatives, regulatory activities, and stakeholder engagement efforts supporting military hearing health programs.

Work location: Remote or Hybrid in Maryland

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Coordinate research and public health projects.

• Coordinate stakeholder meetings and communications.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess excellent ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum two (2) years of project coordination experience
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Government suitability determination.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET clearance if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting federal healthcare, public health, or research programs.
• Experience supporting clinical research studies and human‑subjects research.
• Experience coordinating IRB documentation and submissions.
• Experience supporting military medical treatment facilities.
• Familiarity with hearing conservation, occupational health, or readiness programs.
• PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience supporting geographically dispersed teams, hybrid work environments, remote operations, or nationwide field activities.
• Preferred candidates will have current or prior experience supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Hearing Center of Excellence (HCE), National Military Audiology and Speech Pathology Center (NMASC), Defense Centers for Public Health (DCPH), Military Health System (MHS), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), military treatment facilities (MTFs), hearing conservation programs, auditory readiness initiatives, or other military health and public health programs.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 annually.
