Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior pharmacy technician experience not required.
• Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy Registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee.
• PTCB certification within 2 years of hire, or a Massachusetts Pharmacy Intern License.
• Must meet state and institutional requirements for pharmacy practice.

Responsibilities

• Fills medication orders according to policy and gains proficiency with advanced preparations.
• Maintains the Pharmacy inventory with stock rotation and cycle counting.
• Performs quality control steps and cleans sterile and non-sterile areas.
• Drives documentation and accountability in the research pharmacy system.
• Trains other staff and supports regulatory audits and sponsor visits.
