The ideal candidate will hold MA Pharmacy Technician registration (or trainee) with potential PTCB certification within 2 years and a high school diploma.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy Registration as Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee required or trainee status.
• PTCB certification within 2 years of hire or MA Intern License required.

Responsabilidades

• Fills medication orders according to policy and maintains accuracy.
• Maintains pharmacy inventory including sorting, stocking, and cycle counts.
• Performs sterile and non-sterile compounding per USP 797/800 and policy.
• Uses EHR and inventory systems; documents duties and troubleshoots issues.
• Trains other staff and supports department operations.
• Cross-covers other locations as needed and supports audits.
• Receives, barcodes, transfers, and handles investigational drugs.
• Ensures organized storage and accessibility of study medications.
