Job summary

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of SCCC has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Senior Manager, Research Support to work at the UHealth medical campus in Miami, Florida.

The Senior Manager leads research program teams to ensure successful system implementation and upgrades, overseeing day-to-day operations and resources of research staff, and supporting growth and development across programs. This is a full-time staff role within UHealth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of business and management principles; ability to plan, delegate and supervise.

Responsibilities

• Leads research program teams to ensure system implementation and upgrades.
• Oversees day-to-day operations and resources of research staff; supports growth and development.
• Conducts meetings with research staff to coordinate timely, accurate functions.
• Provides technical support and resolves operational problems.
• Oversees department budget and identifies cost-reduction opportunities.
• Assists in manuscript preparation and publication.
