Job summary

The University of South Carolina in Columbia is seeking an RN II to assist in maintaining the scientific integrity of an NIH-funded study focused on chronic illness management for adults and caregivers in rural South Carolina.

You will work with potential participants to determine eligibility, supervise intervention activities with the team, ensure protocol compliance, and support IRB procedures as part of a collaborative research effort.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and 2+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of nursing practice and community health research.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple functions.
• Valid SC Driver’s license.
• Flexible schedule including some evenings/weekends.
• Proficiency with REDCap.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining scientific integrity of NIH-funded study.
• Determine eligibility of potential participants (recruitment).
• Provide oversight of the intervention with the team.
• Ensure protocol compliance and IRB procedures.
