Job summary

United Digestive is seeking a Research Nurse Coordinator to assist the Clinical Research Department and PIs in managing trials and ensuring adherence to GCP and regulatory standards. The role includes nursing care, data collection, IP handling, and coordination with internal teams.

The candidate should hold an RN license in Georgia or a BSN, have at least one year of clinical research experience, and be proficient with Microsoft Office and healthcare software.

Qualifications

• RN license in Georgia; graduate from an accredited nursing program or Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of one year of clinical research experience.
• Healthcare software proficiency; MS Office Suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Recruits and screens potential patients and obtains informed consent.
• Provides patient education on benefits and risks of participating in a trial.
• Collects and documents participant data including labs and vital signs per protocol.
• Administers investigational product per protocol requirements.
• Performs safety evaluations and notifies PI and study team per guidelines.
• Maintains data management per study requirements and contractual obligations.
• Ensures equipment and supplies for research studies are available and maintained.
• Adheres to HIPAA and communicates with team to ensure proper visits and compensation.
