You will assess patients for changes in condition, adverse events, and medication use, thoroughly documenting findings.
Summary Job Description: Baptist Health is looking for a Research Nurse Coordinator to join our team in Lexington, KY! Under limited supervision, coordinates patient care in compliance with local, state and federal guidelines and regulations through IRB approved protocol requirements. The research nurse coordinator works collaboratively with the patient, other research staff, support system, referring physicians’ staff, radiologists, surgeons, supporting physician, pathologists, pathway staff and sponsors. In collaboration with the investigators, assess patients for changes in condition, adverse events, concomitant medication use, protocol compliance, response to study drug, and thoroughly document findings. The research nurse is also responsible for the development and education of treatment plans and/or order sets and nursing education when applicable to a clinical trial. Completion of study feasibilities and coordination of various pre-study activities are facilitated by the research nurse coordinator in collaboration with research management, staff and investigator.
Qualifications: BSN with two years' experience. In lieu of BSN, ADN with 5 years’ experience is acceptable. Current RN License
