Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in biochemistry or molecular biology and 5+ years postdoctoral experience.
• Ability to follow detailed laboratory instructions and perform molecular techniques and tissue culture.
• Preferred knowledge in RNA biology and selenobiology.

Responsibilities

• Lead research projects in the lab focusing on selenocysteine incorporation and phase separation.
• Analyze selenium utilization in genetically modified cell lines using CRISPR-Cas9.
• Perform in vitro experiments to study Sec incorporation and RNA-protein interactions.
