Responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, organizing and preparing samples, conducting experiments, and recording and analyzing data.

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Biology preferred.

Experience: Prior laboratory experience, either through academic coursework, internships, or employment. 1-2 years preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures; familiarity with common laboratory equipment; proficiency in data collection, analysis, and scientific software; attention to detail; organizational skills; problem-solving skills; excellent communication skills.
Position Summary: The Shalhout Lab seeks a motivated research technician and clinical research coordinator to support critical research activities, including patient interaction, data collection, statistical analysis, and regulatory compliance. The role involves coordination of tumor tissue retrieval and contributes to impactful research in a collaborative environment.

Bachelor’s degree in biology, public health, biochemistry, chemistry, or related field. Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. HIPAA compliance experience preferred.
Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens; tasks may involve contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
Vision at 20 inches or less, depth perception, lifting up to 50 pounds.
