The Lorberbaum Laboratory is seeking a full-time Research Laboratory Technician Associate in the Department of Pharmacology and Caswell Diabetes Institute at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of Dr. David Lorberbaum on projects exploring molecular mechanisms that regulate pancreatic islet development and function using genetically modified mice and human pluripotent stem cell cultures. This is an ideal position for candidates seeking additional hands-on experience before applying to graduate school to pursue biomedical research careers in PhD or MD programs, but all interested parties will be considered. A two-year commitment is strongly preferred.
