Formación

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field or equivalency required.
• Knowledge of complex laboratory techniques, equipment, terminology, materials and substances.
• Skilled in laboratory equipment use and in creating/analyzing statistics to prepare reports; strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Confer with senior lab personnel regarding procedures and techniques to be followed in research.
• Perform specialized tests and procedures using complex equipment.
• Procures supplies and materials for laboratory research.
• Conducts literature reviews to obtain abstracts and information for research.
• Calculates statistics, analyzes data and prepares reports.
• Mays supervise care of research animals and may perform minor animal procedures.
• Orders supplies and experimental materials needed to conduct research.
