Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or closely related field.
• Experience with Drosophila melanogaster is not required but strongly preferred.
• Strong communication in English and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory fly stocks.
• Assist PI with experiments and document in a laboratory notebook.
• Train students and staff in routine laboratory techniques and protocols.
• Present their work at lab meetings, local seminars, and local/national conferences.
• Help organize lab consumables and ordering.
• Contribute to routine lab maintenance tasks (e.g., autoclaving, cleaning).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
