Responsible for managing the overall functioning of the research operation. The BSL3 core currently hosts and facilitates research on Mycobacterium tuberculosis, flaviviruses, coronaviruses, mpox and Coccidioides spp. In addition to basic laboratory equipment, the BSL3 core is equipped with a confocal microscope, a flow cytometer/sorter and a ABSL3 facility.
