Job summary

Massachusetts General Hospital in the Mouro Pinto Laboratory at CGM is seeking a motivated candidate to join our on-site research team at 185 Cambridge Street. You will perform experiments, manage samples, and contribute to data analysis on rare neurodegenerative diseases.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, 1-2 years of lab experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Day shift, 40 hours per week, onsite at Mass General Brigham campus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory experiments following established protocols and procedures.
  • Prepare and handle samples, reagents, and solutions, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, including calibration and troubleshooting.
  • Record experimental data accurately and maintain organized notes.
  • Compile and analyze data using statistical and analytical methods.
  • Assist in data interpretation and presentation of research findings.
  • Maintain laboratory notebook and documentation.
  • Assist with mouse colony maintenance, animal handling, and dissections.
