Job summary

Sierra Lobo, Inc. is searching for a Licensed High Pressure Boiler Operator for its facility in Sandusky, Ohio. In this role, you will perform mechanical-related technical assignments, supporting various research tests by maintaining and optimizing boiler operations and mechanical equipment.

We are looking for candidates with at least 4 years of experience and a Boiler Operator License. This position offers a challenging opportunity to work in aerospace propulsion and power test facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 4 years working experience as a Journeyman Level Mechanic.
• Completion of a 4-year State approved apprenticeship program with a Journeyman’s certificate is highly desired.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from engineering or supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair boiler operations and mechanical systems.
• Operate facility overhead crane, man-lifts, and forklifts.
• Perform general maintenance on mechanical vacuum pumping equipment.
