Job summary

Arizona State University in Tempe is seeking a Lab and Research Assistant 1 Non-Exempt to support PI Grodin's day-to-day tasks in a human subjects lab. The role includes coordinating meetings, supervising undergraduates, IRB protocol management, and handling data infrastructure.

You will recruit participants, guide them through data protocols, ensure lab safety, and contribute to routine and administrative research activities in a campus-based setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a human subjects laboratory.
• Experience with Office software (Word, Excel); IRB familiarity preferred.
• Experience with data management preferred.
• Preferred experience with participants who have alcohol or substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings and manage undergraduate students.
• Submit and manage IRB protocols.
• Establish laboratory data infrastructure.
• Recruit participants and run participants through data protocols.
• Assist PI Grodin with day-to-day lab tasks.
