Qualifications

Marshall Investigative Group Research Department has a reputation for developing the most sought-after information to assist evaluation of insurance claims. As a Research Investigator, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations by developing information, gathering relevant evidence, providing crucial insights and recommendations to assist clients in verifying the legitimacy of claims and making informed decisions regarding defense of claims. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, writing skills, attention to detail, exceptional organization and time management, as well as experience in working remotely and non-traditional hours.




General Duties:



  • Intelligence Gathering: Develop sources with relevant information to the case.

  • Analysis: Analyze all aspects of the case for leads, patterns, inconsistencies, and potential red flags.

  • Report Generation: Prepare detailed and well-structured reports summarizing investigation findings, detailing procedures to obtain findings, and providing recommendations for additional investigation.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to share investigative findings and assist in making informed decisions.

  • Training/Development: Participate in training sessions provided by Marshall Group as well as outside vendors to improve investigative techniques.

  • Testimony and Depositions: When required, provide testimony and deposition in legal proceedings related investigations conducted.

  • Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of all information related to investigations.

Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelor's Degree. Sociology, Criminology, Law, Journalism, Medical Field, or a related discipline (Preferred).

  • Licensing: Must hold or be able to obtain a current and active Private Investigation License.

  • CFE or CIFI preferred.

  • Experience: Proven experience in conducting research work, investigations, insurance claims adjusting, risk management.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing complex information and following appropriate leads to draw rational conclusions.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present investigation findings clearly, concisely, and confidentially.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to develop leads, as well as ensure accuracy in investigations and reports.

  • Ethical Standards: Demonstrated commitment to conducting investigations with the utmost integrity and adhering to ethical guidelines.

  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple investigations and meet deadlines.

  • Discretion: High level of discretion and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.

At the Marshall Investigative Group, we believe our hourly rates, flexible scheduling, benefits, and expense/mileage reimbursements exceed the industry standards for both experienced Investigators and those just beginning their careers. The position may require travel within your state, with the opportunity to become licensed in neighboring states. All expenses are paid, including training/licensing/testing fees. Comprehensive benefits are available for full-time agents.
