The Research Investigator is a Full Time Hourly/Non-Exempt Position. Wage commensurate with experience and candidates will move to billable hours after a specified training period.

The Research Investigator performs desktop-based investigations using electronic data searches, including but not limited to locates, assets, backgrounds, court searches (county, federal), sex offender, debarment, sanctions, social media, and medical canvass investigations to aid insurance claim investigations and detect fraud. We seek candidates with strong information-finding skills, driven by curiosity and a work ethic.

  • Conducting Litigation Support investigations, including:
  • Record Search
  • Medical Canvass
  • Social Media
  • Background Checks
  • Preparing detailed investigation reports
  • Meeting strict deadlines
  • Testifying at hearings

Description:

Job Title: Research Investigator

Job Location: Full Remote

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $16-$25/hr

Reports To: Director of Research

The position is a Full Time Hourly/Non-Exempt role. Wage is based on experience; candidates will transition to billable hours after training.

  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Degree in Criminal Justice or related field
