Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Research Scientist Intern to join our User Modeling and Personalization Research Team in the United States.

The role focuses on inventing new ways to model user behavior and empower business partners to build world-class ML systems for personalized experiences across Snap. You will lead research projects, build scalable prototypes for large-scale ML, and publish your findings at top conferences.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program or equivalent years of experience in a technical field
• Track record of first-author publications in ML/data mining/IR venues (e.g. KDD, NeurIPS)
• Familiar with ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Jax

Responsibilities

• Lead research projects in user modeling and personalization domains.
• Build scalable research prototypes for large-scale ML scenarios.
