Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Research Scientist Intern to join the User Modeling and Personalization Research Team in Bellevue, WA. The role focuses on advancing models of user behavior and developing ML-driven personalization for Snap's products.

You will lead research projects, build scalable prototypes, and evaluate them in large-scale ML scenarios, while publishing findings at top conferences. Strong technical and mentoring skills are required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program in a technical field such as computer science, machine learning, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent years of experience
• Track record of (co-)first-author publications in top ML venues (e.g. KDD, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR)
• Strong familiarity with ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX
• Experience with distributed (multi-GPU, multi-node) training and large-scale settings in research labs is a plus
