Qualifications

• Progress toward a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. in EE, CE, CS, or related field.
• Coursework or project experience in loop engineering, computer architecture, digital design, VLSI, or EDA.
• Fluency in Python and ability to read and modify an existing codebase.
• Ability to pose a small research question and explain the result.

Responsibilities

• Study loop structure: steps, feedback, and how iterations are driven.
• Implement the loop with languages/tools such as Chisel and XLS, plus simulations and builds.
• Apply it to an SoC problem like microarchitectural exploration, RTL implementation and verification.
• Ensure loop reliability with clear interfaces, cached results, regression checks and documentation.
