Position Purpose

Primary responsibilities include supporting the planning and execution of focus groups and pilot testing activities. Interns may assist with developing focus group guides, supporting participant recruitment, and co‑facilitating focus group sessions with adolescents and adults under the supervision of study staff. Additional responsibilities include transcribing audio recordings into de‑identified transcripts, participating in qualitative data analysis using de‑identified data, coding and summarizing findings for internal reports, and assisting with planning and recruitment for pilot testing sessions involving a study‑developed video game and gathering participant feedback. Responsibilities also encompass supporting the informed consent process alongside study staff, distributing and collecting assent forms from adolescents under 18 and consent forms from parents or guardians.
