Job summary

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Hunt Library in Daytona Beach invites applications for a Research and Instruction Librarian. The role serves residential and online students with reference services, instruction, and information literacy development.

It supports synchronous and asynchronous learning and engages in faculty partnerships. The successful candidate will join the library team, offering services to Daytona Beach and Worldwide Campus online students, with some nights and weekends

Qualifications

• ALA-accredited master’s degree in library science or information studies.
• Library reference and research assistance experience or interest in research librarianship.
• Library instruction experience and/or interest in pedagogical skills in librarianship.
• Ability to learn new technology tools and stay current with emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide reference services in-person, virtual, and electronic modes.
• Develop online learning objects and library instruction sessions.
• Engage in liaison relationships and collaborations with faculty.
• Participate in cross-departmental assignments and special projects.
