Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS/MLS) or equivalent from an ALA‑accredited program preferred.
• Candidates currently enrolled in an ALA‑accredited master’s program near completion may apply.
• Degree should be completed within 12 months of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, assessment, and improvement of Link Library's research and instruction services.
• Coordinate in-person and online research assistance for students, faculty, and staff.
• Design and assess information literacy instruction with defined student learning outcomes.
• Develop instructional resources like guides, tutorials, and online objects.
• Serve as a library liaison to designated departments and collaborate with faculty.
• Provide specialized research consultations and support for advanced research needs.
• Develop and deliver workshops on research strategies and library resources.
• Collaborate on collection development to support teaching and learning.
• Participate in assessment of services and contribute to annual reports and accreditation needs.
• Support outreach and campus programming to promote library services.
