The Cancer Research Institute (CRI) seeks a Research Analyst to support analytical projects that quantify and communicate the impact of CRI-funded research. You will analyze grants data, publications, surveys, and external sources to derive reliable metrics and insights for leadership and funders.

The role emphasizes transforming complex biological research into clear, actionable information and building dashboards and reports to guide strategy and public communications.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred in biomedical sciences, public health, data science, bioinformatics, information science, research evaluation, statistics, or related field.
• Familiarity with biological sciences; immunology or cancer research preferred.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in data analysis, research evaluation, biomedical research, grants management, or related area.
• Experience cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting large or complex datasets.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel or comparable data-analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Outcomes and Impact Tracking: identify outcomes from CRI-funded research and track publications, collaborations, and clinical trials.
• Data management: clean, standardize, and enhance grant, investigator, and publication data.
• Reporting and analytical tools: prepare datasets, metrics, dashboards, visualizations, and summaries.
