New York Genome Center is seeking a Project Coordinator to support day-to-day management of complex scientific collaborations between NYGC and CUIMC. You will assist with program planning, grant applications, progress reports, and tracking deadlines and goals.

The role requires coordinating multiple teams, drafting materials, and ensuring timely submissions while supporting lab operations and strategic initiatives. Hybrid work across NYGC and CUIMC is expected.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree.
• Two or more years of experience in an assistant role in large academic or corporate settings.
• Experience in coordinating multiple teams and strategic initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel essential; PowerPoint, Keynote, Photoshop and Illustrator desirable.

Responsabilités

• Assist with draft preparation, review and revision of grants and scientific writing.
• Coordinate with Sponsored Research staff to ensure timely, accurate grant submissions.
• Edit manuscripts, fellowship applications, progress reports and other materials.
• Coordinate with administrative and scientific contacts across NYGC and CUIMC.
• Track NIH and non-NIH reporting deadlines to ensure compliance.
• Provide advice on grantsmanship and standardized language for administrative sections.
• Organize reporting, plan meetings, and provide updates to the director.
• Analyze grant funding trends to identify opportunities for increased funding.
• Assist with strategy development to expand pipelines of grant-based donors.
• Maintain reports and metrics for administrative and regulatory responses.
