Job summary

Rutgers University RBHS invites applications for a Faculty Instructor in Psychiatry Research housed in Dr. Avram Holmes' lab to expand our portfolio in network and computational neuroscience approaches to psychiatric illness. The Instructor will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support CAHBIR initiatives.

Full-time appointment with funding-dependent terms; appointment length up to three years. Salary details are commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Expertise in network neuroscience, computational modeling, and neuroimaging.
• Experience in psychiatric illness research preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and publish results.

Responsibilities

• Perform neuroimaging and psychopathology research under PI supervision.
• Lead design and execution of research projects from concept to analysis.
• Contribute to large-scale federal grant applications in consultation with the PI.
• Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.
• Coordinate departmental/center speaking series as applicable.
• Assist with extramural funding applications to support the position when directed.
• Support research compliance, including IRB/IACUC and trainings.
• Collaborate with external partners and manage data and datasets.
• Supervise undergraduates, technicians, graduate students, and postdocs.
• Perform other related duties as required.
