You will assess patients, tailor testing protocols, and communicate with physicians, nurses, and sonographers while ensuring safety and high-quality data collection. A strong foundation in exercise physiology and ACSM guidelines is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology (ACSM preferred)
• ACSM certification preferred; BLS required; ACLS preferred within 6 months
• Experience in Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation and stress testing preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients for testing appropriateness, safety, and protocol selection.
• Monitors cardiovascular and pulmonary parameters throughout tests.
• Coordinates imaging with physicians for Nuclear Stress Testing.
• Performs pediatric stress testing and educates patients on procedures.
• Maintains documentation and charge capture for each exam.
• Responds to medical emergencies per policy and assists physicians as needed.
• Acts as a resource for rehab program patients and students.
