Tau Robotics, Inc. is seeking a Research Engineer focused on Simulation and Evaluation to advance our general-purpose AI for robots.

You will own the construction of realistic simulation environments that mirror customer homes and tasks, and build evaluation systems that gate every policy release. You will also work on correlating simulation results with real-world outcomes to close the gap between virtual and physical performance.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering in Python and C++.
• Hands-on experience with robotics simulators (MuJoCo, Isaac, or similar).
• A record of building benchmarks or test harnesses people actually trusted.
